Were you required to integrate before 2022?
Then you fall under the rules of the old Integration Act (2013).
You have to choose a school yourself for your integration lessons. Do you want to borrow money from DUO to pay for your lessons and exams? Then you have to choose one of these integration schools. These schools have the Blik op Werk quality label, which means the quality is approved. You cannot borrow money from other schools who do not have this quality label.
From the start date of your mandatory integration, you have three years to pass your integration exams and complete the other mandatory components.
Please note: Make sure you obtain your integration diploma in time! Otherwise you have to pay back your loan with interest.
Components of the integration programme:
- Reading
- Listening
- Writing
- Speaking
- KNM (Knowledge of Dutch Society)
- ONA (Orientation to the Dutch labor market) = mandatory if you had to integrate compulsorily from 2015.
- PVT (Participation Declaration Path) = only mandatory if you had to integrate compulsorily from October 1, 2017.
